Planting seeds in the rain

Last Sunday was the second class of Plant Propagation with David King at the Learning Garden in Venice, CA.  We planted a six pack of small seeds, medium seeds, and a four inch pot of  large seeds (favas).  I’ve been thinking about those seeds sitting all week in the rain, heavy rain!  We all took our plants out near the Rose garden, though those who planted tomatoes put them in the green house on a heating pad set at 76degrees.   At home, I moved some of my plants nearer the house so they wouldn’t be pelted so heavily.
