I visited JAMS in Santa Monica yesterday and met with Joel Post, science teacher. Took a look at the raised beds established there in their courtyard between buildings. The space has lots of potential, but it looks weedy and dormant. It depends on teachers (science) to create projects that use the garden beds. JAMS is across the street from Santa Monica College, and it’s great to see that they have an established space to grow vegetables. The garden was built with the help of the Gardening Angels, a group in Santa Monica.
